After leaving college, Rush Limbaugh started to work as a DJ. He became the disc jockey for WIXZ. In 1973, he moved to KQV in Pittsburg. He got fired in 1974 and started to do works for several radio stations. In 1979, he became the promotions director of the baseball team Kansas City Royals.
